Privacy Policy
Effective July 9, 2026
Short version: no trackers, no analytics SDKs, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a username you choose — used to sign in and to attribute designs you share privately.
- Content: the projects, designs, properties, and shopping lists you create, synced to our cloud database when you sign in.
- Property address: the street address, city, and state you enter for a project — a value you type in, not your device's location.
- Notifications: if you enable them, your device's push token — so we can deliver the notifications you asked for.
What we do not collect
No GPS or precise device location — the app never accesses your location; any address is one you type in. No advertising identifiers, no contacts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your data.
Where your data lives
Cloud data is stored with Supabase (Postgres), protected by row-level security so only you — and the people you explicitly share with — can read your content. All transport is over HTTPS. Backups are encrypted.
Sign in with Apple
If you sign in with Apple, we receive the email Apple provides (which may be an Apple private-relay address if you choose "Hide My Email"). We use it only for your account.
Sharing
A design you share privately is visible only to the usernames you invite. Publicly browsable designs shown in the app are published by BudDIY-curated accounts, not by other users.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account in the app (Account → Delete account) removes your account and its cloud data. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Children
BudDIY is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with a new effective date.
